ABOUT THE DIRECTOR ANDREW STAIB
I have been obsessed with gardens all my life, starting a gardening round when I was 14, cycling to clients around Sydney on my bicycle.
My approach to garden design is very personal. I want to get the design that my clients will really love for years to come. I am very good at listening to clients and I’m able to draw out the essence of what a client wants for their outdoor space.
Throughout my career I have designed gardens to inspire people with the heart aching beauty of nature; with shapes, colours, moods and proportions to pleasure the body and calm and delight the mind.
I formed Glorious Gardens Sussex in 2010 and I am also an artist (Art Gallery) with an interest in photography (Photography Gallery). Working with colour and shapes helps me bring a sensitivity to the multiple dimensions of a garden.
In the light of the recent reports of the state of the natural environment I am also developing an impartial information centre online about sustainable resources and practices in the landscaping industry – (www.slic.earth)
GLORIOUS WOODLANDS
I started Glorious Woodlands because of the tremendous love I have for forests and woodlands and the wish to pass this on to others. We offer a bespoke service where Glorious Gardens will design a new woodland for you on your own land, or renovate your existing woodland – (www.gloriousgardenssussex.co.uk)
