I used sweeping ribbons of Corten steel to give a rice paddy effect to this area of the garden that needed to be retained. Six bifold doors now look out to this stepped area that is an alter to small and unusual plants, a kind of very modern rockery.

They sweep around to meet a formal pond umbrellaed with Australia tree ferns.
