My clients wanted a tropical paradise, a place that would assault the senses with beauty of form and colour. Using Australian tree ferns and Tracycarpus we created an instant canopy under which we planted not only exotic Arum Lillies and Nandina, but also herbs for the eating area. Carex Everillo was used to brighten up the shady area and then we treated the Cedar seating to make sure it keeps its warm earthy colours.

The tiles were an important choice as the elevated garden is viewed from a basement kitchen window. They are a delight to see out of this room and are very much part of the vital elements of the design.
